TRALA 2024 Annual Meeting Highlights Industry Advancements and Collaboration

Scottsdale, Arizona, April 15, 2024 -- The Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) kicked off its highly anticipated 2024 Annual Meeting on Sunday, drawing an impressive turnout of more than 500 industry professionals at the prestigious Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. 

TRALA President and CEO, Jake Jacoby, expressed his enthusiasm for the robust attendance, highlighting the continued growth of the truck renting and leasing sector. “The remarkable turnout reflects the resilience of our industry, and TRALA remains steadfast in providing our members with invaluable insights for their ongoing success,” remarked Jacoby. “From enriching content to dynamic networking opportunities, the unwavering support of our members is truly inspiring.” 

TRALA's Government Relations Committee meeting addressed several critical federal and state issues affecting the truck renting and leasing industry. Topics included tort reform, federal and California environmental regulations, and industry-specific legislation in various states.

During its Security Committee meeting, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) delivered a virtual presentation to TRALA members discussing ongoing threats to the industry and the need to continue the collaborative relationship between law enforcement and TRALA.

TRALA's Equipment and Technology Advisory Council featured presentations by Geotab, Platform Science, and Daimler Truck representatives on the evolving landscape of trucking and its implications for future vehicle maintenance.  

The day concluded with Mack Leasing/Volvo Truck Leasing System, NationaLease, and PacLease hosting meetings for their respective members.
