Josh Linkner & Dana Chairman & CEO Jim Kamsickas Headline TRALA’s Annual Meeting

Bonita Springs, Florida, April 4, 2023 -- Attendees of the Truck Renting and Leasing Association's (TRALA) 2023 Annual Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida, heard from Dana Chairman and CEO Jim Kamsickas today about the future of trucking with so many changes taking place, and from Josh Linkner about how we can reinvent our futures while meeting the new challenges of today.
“It is important for our members to hear from impactful voices at our Annual Meeting,” said TRALA President and CEO, Jake Jacoby. “Jim provided great insight into the pivotal moment our industry faces, and the imminent changes that will transform the trucking industry. Josh Linkner is a creative troublemaker. He started his career as a jazz guitarist and then went on to become the founder and CEO of five tech companies, which sold for a combined value of over $200 million. He is also a deeply experienced business leader, venture capitalist, top-rated keynote speaker, New York Times bestselling author, and professional jazz guitarist. He is a world-renown expert on innovation, disruption, and hyper-growth leadership.
James Kamsickas is chairman and CEO of Dana Incorporated, which is the world's leading provider of highly efficient propulsion systems for vehicles across all mobility markets, spanning the commercial- and light-vehicle, off-highway, aftermarket, and industrial segments.
Under Jim's leadership, the company has grown its sales by nearly 75 percent and has transformed its 120-year-old industrial foundation in mechanical systems to also include complete in-house e-Propulsion and e-Thermal systems.
Jim has over 30 years of mobility industry experience with more than sixteen years as a CEO who has lead global organizations that supply significant vehicle content, including powertrains, electrodynamics, sealing, thermal, fuel cells, digital solutions, acoustics, interiors, exteriors, seating, after sales and service. He has actively represented the interests of the supply industry in U.S. congressional proceedings and served as a member of the President of the United States' council on manufacturing and job creation.
Jim earned a business degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Michigan State University. He also holds an honorary Doctorate of Commercial Science from Central Michigan University.
