GENERAL MOTORS plans to establish a network of 40,000 electric vehicle chargers over the next four years and will distribute up to 10 chargers to each of its dealerships in the U.S. and Canada. . . HINO TRUCKS recently introduced Hino Edge, the company's all-new, third generation connected vehicle solution which synergizes the digital connection between the fleet customer, dealer network, Telematics Service Providers (TSP's), and Hino Ultimate Support Center, to provide customers a competitive edge. . . MACK TRUCKS announced it will offer a factory-installed electric auxiliary power unit (eAPU), the Idle Free Series 5000 eAPU, for its 70-in. Mack Anthem sleeper models, which offers increased air-cooling capacity, reduced idling and simplified maintenance for improved total cost of ownership. . . RYDER SYSTEM was recognized as a “Top Company for Women to Work For in Transportation” for the third consecutive year. . . CARRIER TRANSICOLD recently introduced the Supra S10 diesel-powered truck refrigeration unit which is designed for greater refrigeration and freezing capacity for larger trucks while also offering improved efficiency and fuel economy. . . KENWORTH has launched a project to auction a special “Everyday Heroes” Kenworth T680 Next Generation, to further educate and fund efforts to combat human trafficking and the proceeds from the sale of the truck will go to Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT), a non-profit devoted to stopping human trafficking by educating, mobilizing, and empowering truck drivers and rest stop employees. . . MACK TRUCKS dealer Northwest Equipment Sales is now a Certified Electric Vehicle Dealer, making it the first Mack dealer in the Northwest to achieve that status. . . Wells Fargo promoted KRISTIN LESHER to lead middle market banking. . . BMO Financial Group recently appointed DELAND KAMANGA as group head of BMO Wealth Management; SHARON HAWARD-LAIRD as general counsel; and, DAN GOLDMAN and LEVENT KAHRAMAN as co-heads of global markets. . . Mack Trucks appointed DAVID GALBRAITH as vice president of global brand and marketing and also the company's founders JOHN and AUGUSTUS MACK were inducted into the American Truck Historical Society's (ATHS) new American Trucking and Industry Leader Hall of Fame (ATIL Hall of Fame) as part of its inaugural class. . .
