BT Steadman Named TRALA Chairman

San Antonio, Texas, April 15, 2021—The Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) announced that BT Steadman, Managing Member of Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC has been named the 2021-22 Chairman of the Board at the association's 2021 Annual Meeting at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country in San Antonio, Texas.
"BT has been a strong leader and advocate for TRALA for several years," said TRALA President and CEO Jake Jacoby. “BT is the kind of person that rolls up his sleeves and gets to work without anyone needing to ask for his help. He cares about TRALA and the broader renting and leasing industry as demonstrated by his commitment over the past several years to its Legal Action Fund, the TRALAPAC, and key legislative initiatives. BT also represents the smaller and mid-sized companies that may not receive as much publicity but are just as impacted by tax and regulatory issues as any other company. For these reasons and for his kind and collaborative nature, I am excited to work with him throughout the next year as he takes on this role as TRALA Chairman.”
Steadman follows Dan Murphy of Idealease Inc. as TRALA chairman after serving as vice chairman of the association for the past year.
