TRALA Annual Meeting Features Governor Chris Christie and Mark Zinder

San Antonio, Texas, April 13, 2021 -- Attendees of the Truck Renting and Leasing Association's (TRALA) 2021 Annual Meeting at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country in San Antonio, Texas heard from Mark Zinder about the state of the economy and from one of the leading political voices in the country, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
“It is important to our members to hear from impactful voices at our annual meeting,” said TRALA President and CEO, Jake Jacoby. “Mark gave a very interesting look at what our economy went through during the pandemic and how it is recovering as the world starts to slowly reopen and what we may expect in the next few years. I thought Governor Christie was both insightful and entertaining in his discussion about the 2020 elections, what he predicts the political landscape will look like during the Biden Administration, as well as keys to leadership from his unique perspective.” The Christie speech was sponsored by Volvo Trucks North America.
Christie served as the 55th governor of the State of New Jersey from 2010-2018. During his time in office, Christie emphasized the issues of fiscal responsibility, pension and health benefit reform, education reform, and the opioid crisis gripping his state and the nation. Christie served as Chairman of the Republican Governors Association, where under his leadership the U.S., elected 31 Republican governors. In 2017, President Donald Trump appointed Christie as Chairman of the President's Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis.
Zinder came to the financial industry 30 years ago and gained immediate recognition for his engaging seminars and market intuition. He honed his talents as National Spokesman for Franklin Templeton, where he spent over six years consulting with Sir John Templeton and other renowned economists and money managers. Armed with unique insights and a keen understanding of macroeconomic trends that he learned from Sir John Templeton, Mark shares his knowledge and experiences at meetings and conferences around the world.
