TRALA Reschedules 2020 Annual Meeting for September 27-30, 2020

TRALA leadership and staff have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation.

TRALA's Board of Directors held an emergency call on Thursday, March 12 and after thoughtful and careful deliberation, a decision has been made to reschedule the TRALA 2020 Annual Meeting that would have taken place March 29-April 1 in Bonita Springs, Florida. As indicated in our previous message, the health, safety and well-being of the TRALA membership is our highest priority. There was a clear need to take action after reviewing reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), last week's announcement by the World Health Organization (WHO) declaring a pandemic, and seeing the numerous institutional travel restrictions and ever-increasing numbers of confirmed cases.

TRALA is pleased to announce that it has rescheduled the 2020 Annual Meeting for September 27-September 30 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, Florida. If you are still registered for the Annual Meeting, you do not have to cancel or alter your registration at this time given the meeting has simply been rescheduled. TRALA staff will reach out to everyone that is currently registered for the March meeting to discuss options in the next few weeks. The Hyatt Coconut Point has agreed to cancel all existing room reservations for attendees in conjunction with the original TRALA 2020 Annual Meeting, so no action is needed on your part.
We ask for your patience as we work diligently to address questions and provide additional information to all who are impacted by this change. If you need immediate assistance, please contact Shannon Davison at or Jennylynne Bowman at
