The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced they have begun an environmental review to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions from heavy-duty truck engines. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has issued a request for comments on the role that vehicle maintenance plays in motor carrier safety. The responses will be included in research that will use online surveys to obtain data to address the study's objectives. He was 78 years old.
