TRALA IN THE NEWS - The 90-day exemption the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) granted the Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) on the use of ELDs for vehicles rented for 30 days or fewer expires on April 19th.  TRALA is now requesting an exemption through the end of this year.  FULL STORY



As of April 1, FMCSA's ELD mandate went into full effect, requiring most commercial vehicles to have a compliant ELD device in the cab to track the driver's hours of service. Any driver operating a commercial vehicle without a compliant ELD or Automatic Onboard Recording Device will be subject to the full weight of the law. FULL STORY
