NUMBERS

Associations representing manufacturers of vehicles and parts have spoken out against President Trump's plan to place a 25% tariff on steel and a 10% tariff on aluminum imports. Both metals are crucial to the production of cars and trucks sold in America and could raise the sale prices of those vehicles substantially. FULL STORY

Navistar International reported revenues in the first quarter were $1.9 billion, a 15% increase compared to $1.7 billion in the first quarter last year. This rise was driven by a 24% increase in the company's core Class 6-8 trucks and buses in the U.S. and Canada volumes. FULL STORY
