NUMBERS

Ryder System reported higher revenue growth and profits across all of its business units in the fourth quarter and full year 2017. Ryder's net income was $790.6 million on revenue of $7.33 billion compared to net income of $262.5 million on revenue of $6.96 billion in 2016. FULL STORY

Allison Transmission Holdings saw net sales for the quarter were $588 million, a rise of 25% from a year ago and the North America On-Highway division saw net sales of $270 million in the quarter, a 24% rise from $217 million a year ago. FULL STORY
