MONEY MATTERS

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) Motor Vehicle Operator Safety Training (CMV-OST) grant program has awarded nearly $1 million in grants to seven technical and community colleges across the country to help train veterans and their families for jobs as commercial bus and truck drivers.  FULL STORY

The U.S. Department of Commerce has admitted to a miscalculation in its preliminary anti-dumping tariff rate for truck and bus tires imported from China. The rates for every manufacturer and importer are increasing to 30.36%, which is nearly 10 points higher than the initial calculation. FULL STORY
