TRALA Founder Lawrence Hosts Congressman Kline at Lawrence NationaLease

United States Congressman John Kline (R-MN) discussed his pro-business congressional agenda with Lawrence NationaLease owner Steve Lawrence and his employees during a visit to the company's Red Wing, MN location on October 15.  Kline, first elected to Congress in 2002, serves as the Chairman of House Committee on Education and the Workforce. The Committee has jurisdiction over federal education and job training programs as well as other programs aimed at workplace modernization and access to affordable healthcare and retirement security for American workers.

Steve Lawrence took advantage of the congressional visit to explain to Congressman Kline the issues of critical importance to TRALA and its membership.  Among these are the proliferation of anti-business taxes, fees and regulations promulgated by the federal government in recent years.  Lawrence also described the growing shortage of diesel maintenance technicians and truck drivers facing the industry and the need for the availability of effective training for these jobs.

Steve Lawrence is a TRALA founder and has twice served as its Chairman.
