Wallace Community College in Opp, AL, on the program. . .Universal Technical Institute started Daimler Truck's North America's Finish First Technician Program at its Midwest Campus.  The program focuses on manufacturer-specific advanced training, where UTI-Lisle students can get advance training for Freightliner and Western Star commercial trucks. . .Beaver Truck Centre hosted the eighth annual Manitoba Truckers Going the Distance golf tournament, the province's trucking community raised more than $30,000 for the Children's Wish Foundation.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has posted a net income of $213 million on net sales of $4.7 billion for the second quarter of 2014, which compares to income of $181 million on sales of nearly $4.9 billion for the same period last year. FULL STORY
