TRALA Names Two Recipients for Industry Scholarship Program

Alexandria, VA – February 10, 2014 – The Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) has named Anthony Fisher and Jordan Proefrock as the recent recipients of the TRALA Industry Scholarship Program. These recipients will each receive a $2,500 scholarship that is renewable once for a total of $5,000 if they maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
“The TRALA Industry Scholarship Program will help to insure that the most promising vocational students have an opportunity to pursue their career study regardless of their financial means. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to help these students and give back to our industry,” said TRALA President and CEO Thomas M. James.
Anthony Fisher is attending Linn State Technical College in Linn, Missouri and his field of study is diesel technician. Fisher has made the honor roll at Linn State. Prior to enrolling in college, Fisher served in the United States Army and received multiple medals and ribbons.
Jordan Proefrock is attending Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Proefrock is an employee of MHC Truck Leasing at their Texas location.
