The Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) and several of its allies are working together to fight new District of Columbia legislation, the Sustainable DC Omnibus Act of 2013. This legislation is designed to improve the health of D.C. residents by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and would not allow diesel-powered commercial vehicles to be registered in DC unless the vehicle had previously been registered in D.C., effective January 1, 2018.
