Tom Rozuk of Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions Named TRALA 2009 Annual Meeting Chairman

Alexandria, VA - July 18, 2008 - The Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) has announced that Tom Rozuk, Manager, National Fleet Sales for Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions (BBTS) has been selected to serve as TRALA’s 2009 Annual Meeting Chairman. Rozuk has more than 38 years of experience in the tire industry, the majority of them in the commercial truck tire segment.

Tom and the entire team at Bridgestone Firestone and Bandag have been tremendous supporters of our industry and association for many, many years. I know that with Tom at the helm this year our annual meeting will continue as the premier event for the entire industry.” said TRALA president and CEO Peter Vroom.

In his capacity as Manager, National Fleet Sales, Rozuk is responsible for the development, management and direction of Bridgestone commercial tire and Bandag retread sales for key national fleet customers for the east region of North America. He is also responsible for support and management of the commercial national fleet business activities, having direct staff oversight of strategic national fleet managers and fleet account executives. Rozuk started as a territory sales manager for Bridgestone in 1984 and moved through the ranks to his current managerial position. Prior to joining Bridgestone, Rozuk served as commercial/retail store manager for General Tire in Detroit, Michigan and Syracuse, New York from 1975 to 1984.
