Commercial Motor Vehicle Advanced Safety Technology Tax Act

TRALA is supporting federal legislation that would establish a tax credit of up to 50% of the purchase price of certain advanced safety technology for commercial trucks. Taxpayers purchasing the advanced technology and equipment are eligible for tax credits of up to $1500 per safety system and $3500 per vehicle of up to $350,000 per year. TRALA is working with both the House and Senate sponsors of the legislation to seek its enactment.
