FMCSA Registration for Leasing Companies

TRALA is trying to reconcile conflicting regulations within the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration involving the Unified Carrier Registration Agreement (UCR) regarding the registration of leasing companies. TRALA is working to clarify these regulations to allow leasing company registrants to continue to use their DOT numbers on rental trucks without having to pay private motor carrier UCR fees for their fleet.
