Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida, is the place and April 6-8 is the date for TRALA's 2010 Annual Meeting. Mark your calendar to convene with the leaders of the vehicle renting and leasing industry for what promises to be an outstanding gathering.

TRALA Members collectively purchase 40 percent of the new commercial vehicles registered in the U.S., so attending Wednesday's Technology Fair is a must to see the latest industry innovations in products, services and technologies. Attendance is always high because there are no competing business sessions scheduled during this time and lunch will be served. ACTIVITIES

The Doral Golf Resort & Spa is nestled in a lush South Florida setting convenient to both the Miami and Fort Lauderale airports. This legendary resort (is the perfect haven set amidst a flourishing wildlife preserve), five championship courses, including the legendary Blue Monster, and a newly renovated European-inspired spa facility with 52 private treatment rooms and three pools. Also on property are six restaurants, tennis, fitness center and family-friendly Blue Lagoon waterpark.

GOLF

You will not want to miss out in participating in TRALA’s Golf Tournament to be held on Thursday, April 8. The event sponsored by Eaton Corporation - Roadranger will be held on the Blue Monster golf course. Please complete that portion of the registration form and include a $125 tax-deductible contribution for each player. These funds support TRALA’s Scholarship Program, which awards $5,000 scholarships, renewable up to four years, to deserving students whose parents work for TRALA member companies.

For any one wishing to play golf anytime other than the tournament, TRALA has negotiated special rates for all the Doral courses. The Blue Monster course is $235/player and is caddie mandatory. The rate per player is inclusive of one (1) fourcaddie per foursome. The Great White course is $130/player; Gold is $85/player; Red is $85/player and Silver (located off property) is $130. All rates per player include greens fees, cart fees practice balls and golf services fees. Please call (305) 592-2030 60 days prior to the Annual Meeting to reserve tee times and make sure to mention that you are with the Truck Renting and Leasing Association to receive the discounted rates.

WEATHER AND DRESS

Miami's average high temperature in April is in the high 60s, dipping down into the mid-50's in the evening. Attire for all of TRALA meetings is resort casual and spouses/guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the day's activities. Tuesday's Board of Directors dinner and Thursday's reception and dinner are cocktail attire.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

The Doral Golf Resort and Spa is 45 minutes from Miami Airport and 60 minutes from Fort Lauderdale Airport. The hotel can arrange transportation for you from the airport. Just contact the hotel for rates and information. TRALA has negotiated special rates with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
