The Diplomat Golf Resort and Spa is a Mediterranean inspired setting of 60-luxuriously appointed guestrooms, championship golf, a full-service spa and a comprehensive tennis center which is nestled conveniently between Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International and Miami International Airports.

Schedule

The first planned event is the Chairman's Welcoming Reception and Dinner Beachside on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Meetings for all Board Members will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. Please click here to view a more detailed preliminary program.

Room Reservations & Registration

TRALA has negotiated a significantly discounted rate of $199 per night and 11% taxes. Children 18 years of age or under may stay in their parent's room at no charge. Internet will be complimentary in your rooms for the duration of the program. Valet parking is available at the reduced rate of $16.50/day. Weather, Dress & Recreation

Daytime temperatures in October are predicted to be in the low to mid 80s and the evening in the mid 60s. Weather permitting, we will be holding some activities outdoors, and dress will be resort casual and dress for all the committee meetings will be business casual.

The resort features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, fitness center, ten clay tennis courts and Links Restaurant and Lounge. Guests are able to use the complimentary hotel shuttle to take advantage of the other culinary options available at their sister hotel, The Westin Diplomat. For those who want a little sight-seeing, the Diplomat Golf Resort and Spa is situated between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, the City offers six miles of award winning Blue Wave Certified Beaches and oceanfront Broadwalk, Eco-travel and a historic downtown for shopping and dining. A hub of literary activities; art, theater, dance, music festivals and of course the regions celebrated multi-cultural richness and enviable climate.

Golf

An ideal balance of mature Banyans and Royal Palm trees with manicured Tif Eagle greens and rolling Bermuda 419 awaits the seasoned player and welcomes the novice. The nearly 7,000-yards of championship golf course is managed by internationally renowned Troon Golf®. The Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa Golf Course is the only 5-Star Rated Golf Course in South Florida. TRALA has negotiated a discounted golf rate of $139 and club rentals are $75, both are subject to the 6% tax.
