On October 19, TRALA held a conference call with The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and opened it up to all its members.  The call was focused on the recent decision by the agency to grant only a portion of TRALA's petition asking for an exemption for short-term rental trucks from the ELD Mandate. PacLease has reported the demand for medium- and heavy-duty truck rentals has increased over the past four months with Class 8 rentals jumping 20% nationwide and 25% in the West Coasts. FULL STORY
