ALEXANDRIA, Va. (March 15, 2016) -- Chevron is the newest Associate Member of the Truck Renting and Leasing Association, or TRALA, the nonprofit national trade association that provides the unified and focused voice for the truck renting and leasing industry.

Chevron Corporation is one of the world's leading integrated energy and technology companies, with subsidiaries that conduct business worldwide under the Chevron, Texaco and Caltex brands. Chevron produces, transports and explores for crude oil and natural gas; refines, distributes and markets transportation fuels and other energy products; manufactures and sells lubricants, additives and petrochemical products; produces geothermal energy and coal, and generates electricity; provides energy efficiency solutions; and develops the energy resources of the future, including biofuels and other renewables.

Chevron, with their line of Delo-branded lubricants, enjoys a long-standing leadership position as a supplier of heavy duty diesel engine oils, coolants and related services to Commercial Fleets throughout the U.S. As a leader in the heavy-duty commercial market, Chevron has built strong global relationships with all of the major truck builders, engines manufacturers and component suppliers in the industry. Through these partnerships with key OEMs, Chevron can provide TRALA members with a host of benefits such as product training, industry awareness and assistance with technical issues and warranty concerns.

"Chevron is a worldwide leader in energy production and will provide options for our members on a variety of different levels," said Jake Jacoby, TRALA President and CEO. "TRALA continues its efforts to bring in more Associate Members that give our members a wide range of choices in order to operate their businesses as effectively as possible."
