TRALA IN THE NEWS - On Tuesday, November 22, 2016 Federal District Judge Amos Mazzant placed a nation-wide Preliminary Injunction on the Department of Labor's Overtime Rule, which was set to go into effect on December 1, 2016. TOP STORIES - The Environmental Protection Agency and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have officially published the Phase 2 greenhouse gas/fuel efficiency rule for commercial vehicles in the Federal Register. The rule was finalized in August and now that it has been published in the Federal Register, it has an effective date of December 27, 2016.

TOP STORIES - The new North American On-Highway Commercial Vehicle Engine Outlook report by ACT Research and Rhein Associates says the industry will likely see a pre-emission boom in Class 8 truck sales in 2019 and 2020, before a sharp drop in 2021.  However there are others that say this time around will be different.
